Frequently asked questions

How do I sync my data between my iPhones?

Open Settings → Data and turn on iCloud sync on each iPhone, signed in with the same Apple Account. Your barbecues, cookings, recipes and photos sync through your private iCloud. Turning sync off keeps the data on the device.

How do I back up my data or move it to another iPhone?

Open Settings → Data → Export data and save the file wherever you like (Files, iCloud Drive, another app). On the other iPhone, open Settings → Data → Import data and pick the file. Importing replaces all the data on that iPhone.

How do I delete my data?

Delete single items with a swipe in the lists, or delete the app to remove everything stored on the device. If you used iCloud sync, also remove GrillMate's data from iCloud in the iOS Settings app → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Do I need an account?

No. GrillMate has no accounts. iCloud sync uses the Apple Account you're already signed in with on your iPhone.

Does GrillMate collect my data?

No. There are no analytics, ads or tracking. Read the privacy policy for the details.
